Description

Bonfires on the Heath is an exceptional vinyl album by The Clientele that returns to the band’s roots. This dreamlike exploration of suburban landscapes is infused with a trippy sense of menace. The album beautifully marries English folk traditions with the band’s signature bossa and pop elements. With contributions from Mel Draisey on piano and violin, the timeless and eerie songs are instantly recognizable, placing The Clientele in a league of their own, yet they have influenced bands ranging from Spoon to Fleet Foxes.
