Title: Joy Division Peel Sessions
Year/Genre/Sub-Genre/City: 1986, Rock, Post-Punk, Manchester, England
Condition: New

Cultural Facts:

1. Scene Ecology: John Peels BBC sessions were an alternative pipelinebands could reach the whole UK without label budgets or mainstream radio support.

2. Studio Lore: Recorded fast under BBC rules: limited takes, tight time, and a capture it now mindset that made sessions feel like documents, not albums.

3. Media Narrative: After Ian Curtis 1980 death, Joy Divisions archive became a kind of evidence trail; these broadcasts helped cement the mythology.
